From Data to Policy

This project showcases the demographic and housing analysis, where I sourced and processed data from the U.S. Census and state agencies, to profile and compare the City of Vista and the County of San Diego. I conducted the analysis, identifying key trends in population and housing, designed, calculated, and evaluated a suite of population projection models to forecast 2030 needs. The report, from the initial data clean up and modeling to the creation of tables, the drafting of the narrative, and the development of evidence-based policy recommendations, demonstrates policy development informed by quantitative research.
